G.I. ARCHITECT PRESERVES HISTORY WITH VISION, DEDICATION
Grand Island architect Marvin Webb is continually looking for ways
to dust things off and make them new.The tasks he takes on are
far from easy, they don't always make him money and they sometimes cost
more than
starting from scratch. Still, he knows the importance of preserving
what might otherwise be lost and has the vision it takes to bring the history
of a community back to life."I think it's important as an architect
to be able to help preserve the historic fabric of our past," Webb
said. "It gives us a comfortable feeling in knowing more about our
past, to be able to deal with current conditions and be more positive
in people liking their community and living in their community."
