Project: Grand Island Area Chamber of Commerce Offices
Click on any picture for larger image This project required special attention to research of the original building storefront and analysis for the redesign of the existing interior office space (4,100 square feet) to create additional usable space with in the existing building. There were many inefficient offices, workrooms and corridor spaces that were reconfigured to create approximately 600 new square feet of usable space. In order to provide the Chamber of Commerce a recognizable downtown business location, we designed a new exterior building storefront (1,320 square foot). The design of the new storefront incorporated new wall material to construct historical architectural building elements (cornice, dentals, vertical column flutes, etc.) that reflect the historical details found in the Grand Island Downtown of the early 1900's. This project won a national Dryvit Design Award for this storefront design. |
