Project: Amick Office Building and Apartment Renovation in Doniphan, NE

This project took an almost dilapidated existing downtown multi-use building (street level storefront business and an upper level apartment) that had not been used for years and completely renovated the interior and exterior. The east side had the roof removed to provide an exterior courtyard for the upper apartment use and both the first floor offices. The interior finishes were completed by John Amick to be as close to historically accurate, from the push button light switches, light fixtures and wood doors and trim. John Amick, local Lawyer and Realtor took on this project when most Doniphan residents held out no hope for this building. It is now one of the jewels of downtown Doniphan, NE.
