Webb & Company
Architects, Inc. is owned by Marvin and Jeanne Webb;
and operated by architect Marvin Webb. The company is now 15
years old, having commenced in 1992. During the first fourteen months
of business,
WCA operated as a sole proprietor. In November 1993, the owners
incorporated the business as part of a strategic business plan. Marvin
Webb is the Corporation
President, and Jeanne Webb is the Corporation Secretary-Treasurer.
The firm provides a complete line of architectural services, including
design,
planning, preliminary cost analysis, tenant space planning, historic
renovation, construction-contract documentation, project management,
and ADA Consulting.
Marvin has conducted ADA Seminars across the state with the Berens-Tate
Consulting Group. Mr. Webb was re-appointed by former Governor
Ben Nelson to serve a second four year term on the Accessibility
Advisory Committee
for the State Fire Marshal’s office in Lincoln. He is a Past
President of the Nebraska Executive Board for The American Institute
of Architects
Nebraska Chapter.
Webb received his Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the University
of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Architecture in 1971. As a registered professional
architect, Webb has been a member of The American Institute of Architects
since graduating in 1971. He has had 36 years of experience working with
a variety of architectural firms in Omaha, Lincoln, and the last 26 years
in Grand Island, Nebraska.
As a general
practice firm, Webb & Company has enjoyed successful
completed projects of several different building types. Marvin Webb has
lead the design and project management effort for both public and private
projects. He has experience with working with individual property owners,
as well as working with committees and managing boards of directors. In
all cases, Webb & Company Architects, Inc. approaches each project
with an enthusiasm for integrity, honesty, and inclusiveness of the
Owner and Users as an integral part of the design team.
